New range of Winter coats for 2015/16

We’re back again and glad to have released a new range of  wonderful winter coats more extravagant than the last batch, with either simple sophistication or detailed drama. All are fully lined and with what every girl wants in her life and clothing; pockets!

Lulu Coat

The swinging sixties style never fails to strike a chord in our hearts especially with the lavish Lulu Coat that comes in a variety of Green, Pink or Grey! Its A-line shape sits above the knees with two helpful front pockets. This snug coat is 50% wool making it that extra but more luxurious than before with the combination of large button embellishments, sequins and beads. Available in sizes XS-XL.

Bacall Trench Coat

The sleek black Bacall Trench coat is a classic cool look that is the ideal length to be worn with our 50s dresses sitting over the knees. The garment is neatly double breasted with a tie around waist, front pockets and polished lapel collar. This coat is yours to grab in sizes XS to 4XL.

Kira Coat

Another A-line shaped coat is the Kira coat with delightful decorative embellishment patterns like no other on the front bodice and at the back waist. This glittering garment has black crystal buttons over a popper fastening with carefully hidden pockets in the side seams and a single pleat on the centre back to give an immaculate touch. You have a choice to buy it in either Black, Burgundy or Green and it comes in sizes XS-XL.

Courtney Coat

Due to popular demand we have a re-release of the old design, the Courtney coat! With a Lolita-type style, this coat is packed with adorable details such as the lace around a large collar, down the fitted bodice, on the bottom hem and sweet bows- we have cutely placed bows on the sleeve cuffs and the back of the waist. In addition to this all, it has a corset lace up detail on the lower back with 3 ruffles draped beautifully down and heart shaped pockets on the front with a soft velvet trim. The Courtney coat is available in sizes XS- 4XL and colours Black or Burgundy

Olga Coat

Available in sizes XS-4XL, the black Olga Coat is double layered with turn up cuffs on the arm, a tasteful statement collar and brought together harmoniously with button fastening and tie on waist. Like all the other coats, has front pockets and button detailing on the top.

Rock Noir Coat

If you want a coat that gives a glamorous impact then the Rock Noir is definitely the answer. With a black body and drop-dead gorgeous contrasting faux fur trim on the cuffs and statement collar that either come in Black/Green or Black/Red. The flared skirt sits on the knee, has pockets hidden in the side seams with fake pocket flaps for cute extra gathering detail. On top of this all, it’s double breasted and comes in sizes XS-4XL.

Elvira Coat

The dramatic Elvira coat has an enchanting, fairy tale quality to it. This sublime piece has a pleated long skirt with elegant faux fur trims which makes for a voluminous hem around the cuffs, bottom hem and large hood. There’s almost no need for a hat, scarf and gloves as it's our warmest coat yet! It comes in the rich colours of Burgundy, Black or a Deep Green and in sizes XS- 4XL. With 5 button center fastening and side seams pockets, it's all you could ever ask for in a coat. Practical and pretty!

Spring Preview!

Spring fever

When gearing up for Spring here at Hell Bunny HQ, we went a little crazy for gingham.  It's such a perfect fabric for 50's vixens and lolita girls alike. The hardest decision was which of the many colours to go for, and in the end we decided to go for sugary sweet lavender, baby pink and luscious lemon.

Style wise, there's something for everyone, with swing dresses, Lolita style offerings and a more casual everyday number. We think you should unleash your inner Dorothy with these gingham lovelies!
We love to offer some style tips with our dresses from time to time, and created a few 'How to Wear it' examples with these if you're struggling for style ideas! Make sure you check out our Polyvore page for more ideas!

Jinmu dress

You'll look sugary sweet in this Lolita dress, with gingham fabric, two shoulder straps with white trim, and lovely lacing up the front and on the pockets! It works both with and without a petticoat (although we paired it with our 21" petticoat for the photos if you're wondering)!

Lazyriver dress

For the 50's sirens out there, we created the Lazyriver swing dress. It perfectly showcases your curves (with its fitted waist and gathered bust) whilst giving you some coverage on the upper arms and hips. We're dying to see someone take it on a spring picnic with that special gentleman ;)!

Saturday dress

For a more relaxed and everyday look, the Saturday dress is great. It's just really comfortable and easy to wear. The bodice is jersey and has shirring elastic panels in the back and he star-shaped buttons give it that extra touch!

Alika dress

Available in 5 colours, the Alika dress is in our classic halter-neck shape with shirring elastic back panels which stretch to fit the wearer. Looks awesome with or without a petticoat!

London Edge

London Edge

The past week has been a crazy one for the Hell Bunny team. We showed our new Spring Summer collection at London Edge trade show in London, UK over three days. It's a great show which brings together all the alternative brands under one roof. Buyers from all over the world come down to the show to see what new delights all of the alternative brands have to offer for the new season.

Unfortunately ladies, it's a trade only show, so you'll have to wait a little while yet to see the collection in all it's glory. But here's a really sneaky teaser picture of the new collection from above ;-)!
What can you spot? And hope this whets your appetite for the new collection, because it's coming in over the next few months in bite-sized chunks for your wearing pleasure!!

Hell Bunny Autumn/Winter 2012-13 Backstage sneek peeks!!

 Hell Bunny Photoshoot Autumn/Winter 2012-13

A couple of weeks ago, we shot the new Autumn/Winter range for Hell Bunny.
You may be thinking, wait, we didn't even get a summer yet, what are the crazy folk at Hell Bunny doing photographing a winter range..!? Well, here at Hell Bunny, we work in advance and design collections up to a year ahead of them hitting the shops for you to buy. We usually have 2 photoshoots per year, each bringing a new look to the Hell Bunny collection.
Our photos go worldwide, so it's really important that we nail each shot. Initially, they go out to all of our stockists across the globe. We produce a (trade only) biannual catalogue for our stockists to browse our new styles.
As well as the catalogue, the pictures also appear on the websites of many of our stockists, on our own wholesale website, and eventually will be posted on our much loved and visited facebook page.
The pictures go up on the facebook page as soon as they are in the shops, (or sometimes a little earlier if you're very lucky) !!
Our photoshoots have grown over the past few years, from a small team of a photographer, Hell Bunny staff and models, to the giant team of professionals we have behind us today.
This time around, we had a fantastic group behind the photoshoot. Our favourite photographer Phillip Waterman was ready to capture the shots, with his trusty digi assistant Ian Kirby.
Stylist Deborah Latouche was on hand to make sure that every detail of the outfits was shown off to its best. You can see her at work in the image below alongside hair stylist Jason Crozier who made sure the models hair was styled to perfection. And,  last but certainly not least tanya chianale provided some excellent make up for the models.

We always have a lot of fun whilst shooting here at Hell Bunny, as you can see from the backstage photos! It's a long and tough few days for all involved, but the results are always fantastic.

The team, hard at work, to make sure the models look great on camera (not that they need much help in that field ;-)! )
