Spring Preview!

Spring fever

When gearing up for Spring here at Hell Bunny HQ, we went a little crazy for gingham. It's such a perfect fabric for 50's vixens and lolita girls alike. The hardest decision was which of the many colours to go for, and in the end we decided to go for sugary sweet lavender, baby pink and luscious lemon.

Style wise, there's something for everyone, with swing dresses, Lolita style offerings and a more casual everyday number. We think you should unleash your inner Dorothy with these gingham lovelies!

We love to offer some style tips with our dresses from time to time, and created a few 'How to Wear it' examples with these if you're struggling for style ideas! Make sure you check out our Polyvore page for more ideas!

Jinmu dress

You'll look sugary sweet in this Lolita dress, with gingham fabric, two shoulder straps with white trim, and lovely lacing up the front and on the pockets! It works both with and without a petticoat (although we paired it with our 21" petticoat for the photos if you're wondering)!

Lazyriver dress

For the 50's sirens out there, we created the Lazyriver swing dress. It perfectly showcases your curves (with its fitted waist and gathered bust) whilst giving you some coverage on the upper arms and hips. We're dying to see someone take it on a spring picnic with that special gentleman ;)!

Saturday dress

For a more relaxed and everyday look, the Saturday dress is great. It's just really comfortable and easy to wear. The bodice is jersey and has shirring elastic panels in the back and he star-shaped buttons give it that extra touch!

Alika dress

Available in 5 colours, the Alika dress is in our classic halter-neck shape with shirring elastic back panels which stretch to fit the wearer. Looks awesome with or without a petticoat!

London Edge

The past week has been a crazy one for the Hell Bunny team. We showed our new Spring Summer collection at London Edge trade show in London, UK over three days. It's a great show which brings together all the alternative brands under one roof. Buyers from all over the world come down to the show to see what new delights all of the alternative brands have to offer for the new season.

Unfortunately ladies, it's a trade only show, so you'll have to wait a little while yet to see the collection in all it's glory. But here's a really sneaky teaser picture of the new collection from above ;-)!

What can you spot? And hope this whets your appetite for the new collection, because it's coming in over the next few months in bite-sized chunks for your wearing pleasure!!

Hell Bunny goes Hawaii!

The new collection is making its way into our head office in London. The first batch of lovelies dropped a few days ago, and it's making us all feel super summery! We can't wait for the big yellow thing in the sky to show its face again so we can get some of these beauties on our bodies!

The first item to arrive were the Candy Skirt. It comes in 4 delicious Tiki colours, perfect pink,
blazin' blue, yummy yellow and raucous red!
They are nice and versatile, and can be worn with a petticoat (we recommend our 26" ones for these scrummy skirts) or without for a more casual look.

Next up, the Hula Tie shirt. For an authentic 50's tiki look, we just love these. Wear alone in the height of summer or layer up over a camisole/spaghetti top for a totally different look. So many options to wearing this adorable top! We like it paired with the Candy Skirt, and it looks great with an authentic looking pair of blue jeans!

Last but not least is the Leena top. A really easy wear, with elasticated back, so it will stretch to fit you. Again it comes in all four colours and looks great with the Candy skirt or some blue jeans!
We're feeling summery already! Bring on the sunshine!!

Hell Bunny Spring 2013-New Collection!!

It may still be a bit nippy outside ;) but we've been busy getting together out new collection for Spring/Summer 2013 !! We begin designing around a year in advance, starting out with our unique prints. The majority of our prints are designed in-house and by our team of designers, so this is an important process. Once the prints are created, we begin to design the shapes of the garments.

We create samples of all of the lovely clothing you see, and test them out for fit and quality (and of course looks)!

Around 10 months later, and the collection is ready, and it's time to start getting it ready to show to the world!
The next step is our photoshoot.

Firstly we cast some lovely models. Hell Bunny is based in London in the UK and we use local models. For this season, we were lucky enough to team up with the fantastic Miss Betsy Rose and the fabulous Beau Rocks . Who are not only talented models, but also fantastic burlesque stars. Do make sure you check out their websites, and maybe go catch a show!

Our make up artist Pretty Me Vintage did a superb job on making these already stunning ladies, super gorgeous! Look at those eyebrows! Wow...come and do our make up please ? ;-)

By the way- check out the new Hell Bunny headquarters! We moved in this year, and it's all looking very exciting, and with all this space, it means we can do our photoshoots in the office. What a brilliant use of space! The collection is all lined up along with our design boards getting ready to be worn by the lovely ladies.

Oh, no, there's a boat on Betsy's head! Back to the madness that is a Hell Bunny shoot =)! ( For this great accesory by the way, check out Now Voyager. Gotta love a pirate ship hairclip!

Next up is Starcrossed dress, perfect for an alternative Valentines day! What better way to spend it than in a dress with a pin up beauty locking lips with a skeleton ! Well, we certainly don't do prints by halves at Hell Bunny!!

And the last sneak peek for the day, we went ahead and reinvented one of our classics- the tattoo flock dress, and created it in white! The original red and black versions have also been restocked and are back on sale! Woo =)!

Monster Mayhem!!

Well, we're totally trying to take over the world with our designs!! First we tried to dominate the world with unicorns (if you missed that check out the post here !) And now, we're set to cause mayhem across the globe with our monstrous B-Movie dresses!! As usually, our facebook fans have done us proud, and when we called for the monsters to unite and cause some mayhem, we got plenty of response!
